Sustainability Fund Information Fair

Approximately $215,000 is available this year through the University Sustainability Fund for student, staff, and faculty projects that reduce social, economic, and / or environmental impacts on campus and enhance sustainability. Learn about the grant process at the University Sustainability Fund Information Fair on Monday, September 19th from 1pm-2pm in the Prince George's Room in the Stamp Student Union. There will be a showcase of last year's grant recipients, information on the upcoming proposal process, and an open forum for questions, answers, and general discussion on involvement with campus sustainability. The forum will feature a panel of representatives from current projects, the student-majority subcommittee, University Sustainability Council, Office of Sustainability and Student Sustainability Committee.
- Application materials must be submitted electronically to the Office of Sustainability (sustainability@umd.edu) by Monday, November 1, 2011. Projects may be awarded funding by February, 2012.
