  • Good Neighbor Day Seeking Team Leaders and Environmental Ambassadors

    The Office of Community Engagement is seeking volunteers to serve as team leaders or environmental ambassadors on Good Neighbor Day, the annual community day of service in College Park to beautify shared spaces and engage in sustainable practices.  The ninth annual Good Neighbor Day will take place on Saturday, April 4. The 2020 event is projecting more than 1,000 volunteers for nearly 25 service projects throughout Greater College Park. 

  • Sustainable Tuesdays 2020 Schedule of Topics

    Co-Sponsored by the UMD Office of Sustainability and the UMD School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, the Sustainable Tuesday presentation series offers opportunities for the university community to learn about sustainability on the UMD campus. Each presentation happens on Tuesdays at 5:00pm, in the auditorium of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (Room 0204) The schedule for 2020 is as follows:
