OutGrowth Summer 2019 Impact Cohort

Internship Type:

Off-Campus Opportunities

At OutGrowth, we partner self-starting students with socially-conscious agriculture-based companies for immersive, out-of-the-office internships.

We are seeking students who are open to new experiences, devoted to creating social impact and driven to deliver value to our partnering farms. Our immersive experiences are designed to be opportunities where students can reach outside of their comfort zones, challenge themselves personally and professionally, enjoy nature and live simply.

These opportunities for individual development are coupled with focused projects, where students are teamed with other like-minded students as we continue to grow our community of change agents.

At OutGrowth, we are die-hard advocates for adventure, transformational learning and valuable results. Each one of us has something to offer and something to learn. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply! Grow out with us.

All students over 18 years of age are eligible to apply. We encourage diverse academic, cultural and experiential backgrounds.

No previous service, agricultural or internship experience is required. Ideal candidates have a desire to make a positive impact on the community and are motivated to work both independently and as a team. Interns are expected to enter the program with an openness to new experiences, relationships, challenges and opportunities. As students and companies learn together in this shared experience, we maintain an environment of respect, acceptance and open communication.
Our programming is driven by the following five value pillars:

• Personal & Professional Purpose
• Career Readiness
• Community Partnership
• Social Impact
• Sustainable Business

If accepted, all interns will be required to attend certain events, in addition to submitting payments and documentation by the designated deadlines.

The application deadline (early action) is December 1.
