Student PIRGs Campus Organizer

Internship Type:

On-Campus Opportunities

The Student PIRGs work with students at 35 colleges and universities to create a greener, healthier, more meaningful future -- on campus, in our community, and across our state and country.

This semester, 30 Campus Organizers on campuses across the country have collected over 40,000 student voter registrations and pledges to vote, lobbied more than 30 members of the State Assembly in California to help pass SB100 -- putting California on track for 100% clean electricity, and collected information nationally to help identify the top 10 Plastic Polluters of 2018.

Take your first step in a career for advocacy by applying to our full time position, which gives recent graduates the opportunity to work with great people, gain real skills and start making a difference on important issues right away!

Students have always been at the forefront of movements to build a better future for our country from civil rights to voting rights to the environment. That legacy fuels Student PIRGs mission today as we help students get energized and organized to keep building a better future.

Student PIRGs are hiring Campus Organizers to work year-round, to provide the training, professional support and resources students need to tackle climate change, protect public health, revitalize our democracy, feed the hungry and more.
