Abbey Vanasse

Abbey is a senior majoring in Information Science with a minor in Sustainability Studies. They are excited to return for another year in the office to support clean energy education by engaging the campus community in clean energy planning and progress, with the goal of increasing student knowledge and involvement in Maryland’s clean energy future.

They are passionate about climate policy and energy analysis, and have explored these passions through their internships with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and Delegate Charkoudian. On campus, Abbey serves as a councilmember for the NextGen Energy Advisory Group and as Director of Professional Development for Out in STEM. Outside of school, Abbey enjoys hiking, crafting, and spending time with friends.
