Aminata Diaoune

Aminata is a junior majoring in Environmental Science & Technology with a Geographic Information Science minor. She is passionate about protecting the environment and creating a more sustainable future through education, community engagement, and everyday action. As a SustainableUMD Ambassador, Aminata hopes to inspire others to make sustainability a part of their daily lives while helping build a more environmentally conscious campus community. Aminata is really interested in environmental education, conservation, and climate resilience. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time in nature, crocheting, doing hair, listening to music, and learning new things that help me grow.
