Emily Hightower

Emily tracks and publishes sustainability metrics; supports the implementation of the climate action plan; manages the SustainableUMD Progress Hub; and assists campus stakeholders with sustainability rating systems and other reporting. Emily joined the UMD community in 2019 as a Sustainability Associate splitting her time between the Office of Sustainability and the Department of Energy and Engineering. Prior to working at UMD, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Economics.
