Maddie Kopecky

Maddie is an Environmental Science and Policy major with a minor in Meteorology. Her passion for the environment and sustainability began when she was young on her first camping trip. Now, she is most interested in learning how we can protect the environment and ourselves in the face of climate change. Also at UMD, Maddie is an Adventure Trip Leader for RecWell and part of the Honors Global Challenges and Solutions Program. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and backpacking, playing tennis, reading, and spending time with her dog.
