Miya Johnston
Outreach Events Intern
Miya Johnston is a Junior Public Health Sciences Major with a Minor in Sustainability Studies. She will be working this 2022-2023 school year as an Outreach Events Intern for UMD’s Office of Sustainability, where she will mainly focus on helping to bring valuable resources concerning sustainability to different areas of campus. Miya is passionate about sustainability, and is excited to share information about UMD’s sustainability initiatives as well as ways in which other students can make sustainable changes in their daily lives. In her free time, Miya enjoys swimming, hiking, going on walks, and listening to music.
