Ru Subramaniam
Outreach and Events Intern
Ru is a senior majoring in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Sustainability Studies. After serving as a Sustainability Ambassador last year, she is excited to take on a leadership role with outreach and event planning. Ru will be working with the SustainableUMD Ambassadors to table at events around campus, as well as plan Campus Sustainability Month Celebration, a sustainability career panel, and EarthFest! On campus, Ru serves as the Director of Professional Development for Epsilon Eta, Public Relations Chair for the ENSP Student Advisory Board, Group Fitness Instructor at RecWell, and is a member of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance. Outside of school, Ru enjoys spending time outdoors, line dancing, running, and learning how to DJ.
