Teagan Flaherty

Visual Media Intern

Teagan is a senior Environmental Science and Technology major minoring in Entomology. As the Visual Media intern she will create content as well as enhance the Office of Sustainability’s digital presence through photographs, videos, and graphic designs.

This summer Teagan worked as a Workforce Development Intern for University of Maryland Extension and also works as a research technician in Dr. Krishnan’s entomology lab. She hopes to attend graduate school after her time at UMD and pursue sustainable food production to help conserve pollinators!

On campus she is an AGNR Student Ambassador, a coordinator for Terps for Change, the Communications Chair for the AGNR Dean’s Student Advisory Council, and member of Sigma Alpha, a professional sorority for women in agriculture. In her free time she loves taking care of her 2 cats, kayaking or paddle boarding, and doing arts and crafts.
