Campus Sustainability Month Celebration
October is Campus Sustainability Month, and the Office of Sustainability is hosting the third annual Campus Sustainability Month Celebration! The event will be at Hornbake Plaza on Thursday, October 15th, from 11am - 1 pm.
This year, the Office of Sustainability is focusing on educating the community on a new set of Campus Goals that are set to debut October 1st. Celebrate campus sustainability with interactive activities, sweet treats, and the chance to take part in the Green Terp Bucket List while connecting with sustainability organizations.

New Campus Sustainability Goals: A Vision Through 2036
To kick off Campus Sustainability Month, the Sustainability Council is launching seven new long-term goals designed to shape UMD’s sustainability strategy for the decade ahead. Our seven new goals tackle everything from hyperlocal ecology and research operations to career readiness and smart growth.
